known that they would capture
those who opposed the system,
and his father asked them if
they detained him, and that
Na'eem had disappeared. Of
course the intelligence agency
asked them why he
disappeared, and his father told
him that Na'eem was out
searching for religion. So the
intelligence agency knew of his
name, and he existed in their
files.
During this time he married
and had two children named
Amr and Heba, and
MashaAllah in this day he now
has a total of 9 children. May
Allah guide them all to the
truth, as one of his children
which is Amr, is actually a
Sheikh who has been living in
America teaching the salafiya
school of thought. I just
checked out his youtube video,
and you can find him by simply
doing a youtube search, Sheikh
Amr. InshaAllah we can
present the dawah to him and
re-unite him and his father.
After some time back in Egypt
and after finishing his studies
in 1979 he became a soldier for
the Egyptian army, and spent a
year in service. After this
service, he was unable to find
work to provide for his family,
so he traveled to Iraq to work,
but even then, he did not know
any shiah there who could
speak to him about the Ahlul
Bayt (as). I found this very odd,
as Iraq is predominantly a
shiah based country, so I asked
him how this was possible, and
he said they were just not there,
SubhanAllah. He worked there
for about two years, but he was
completely unaware of the
Ahlul Bayt (as), and was still
very unhappy inside regarding
his religion.
And for the readers to know, do
not find this strange to be
unaware of the Ahlul Bayt (as)
in countries like Egypt. Young
children growing up all the
way into adulthood and
beyond have never come across
a text speaking about them (as),
they are never mentioned in the
mosque unless a sheikh is
calling shiah kaffirs. Similar to
what we faced in school
growing up in the west, as
information is controlled and
fed for many reasons. So Egypt
is a country that fights and
oppresses the Ahlul Bayt (as),
although you will find some
who have respect for some of
them (as), like brother Na'eem
found out in the next part of his
life.
Around 1985 he met a Sheikh
named Mohammad Ibrahim
abd Al Ba'ith who respected
“The People of the Cloak”
Prophet Muhammad (sawas),
Fatimah (as), Ali (as), Al
Hassan (as), and Al Hussain
(as). And this is when he first
started to know about the Ahlul
Bayt (as), but only as five
members and not the 12 Imams
(as), as the Sheikh never spoke
about the other Imams (as), or
the emergence of Imam Mahdi
(as), and he did not speak about
the crimes of Abu Bakr, Omar,
Muwaiyah, Yazid, etc. Etc...
During this time with Sheikh
Mohammad Ibrahim abd Al
Ba'ith, Na'eem began building a
love for the five of the cloak (as)
and he saw the respect and
obedience Amir al-Mu'minin
Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) had
towards the Holy Prophet
(sawas), and the way Umar was
with the Prophet (sawas). And
of course the morals, manners,
and knowledge of Imam Ali
(as) is far above all except the
Prophet Muhammad (sawas).
So brother Na'eem noticed
these things and new questions
began coming up, and a new
love was formed in his heart.
Brother Na'eem searched in the
books of the Sunnah to confirm
this knowledge that he was
learning from the Sheikh, and
could not find it, this “special
knowledge” as Na'eem said,
but his heart knew it was the
truth and he held tight to the
sheikh and that small group for
many years.
Sheikh Mohammad told
Na'eem, “Do not depend on the
paper and the sunnah way of
thinking, but hold on to the
Ahlul Bayt (as) and their
teachings.” Sheikh Mohammad
began building the love for
Ahlul Bayt (as) in Na'eem's
heart and he began feeling as if
he was approaching the truth,
but he was still not satisfied,
there was something still
missing.
In 1996 brother Na'eem went on
