Proud Of Them And Would Do It Again! By Anis Kotia The 17th of May was an eventful day for the UK Ansar Allah when we embarked on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Although 5 of us began together, only 1 managed to complete the task (yours truly). That isn't to say that not everyone tried - everyone tried but due to a combination of factors, the odds were stacked against us. Nevertheless, the purpose, which was to raise money for the orphans in Iraq was accomplished. The Yorkshire 3 peaks are about an hour and a half drive north of Liverpool situated in North Yorkshire. They are a popular tourist attraction covering approximately 160 square kilometres and around 120,000 people who climb Ingleborough each year. There are 3 main peaks which attract the most visitors and they are Pen-yghent 694m (2,277ft), Whernside 736m (2,415ft) and Ingleborough 723m (2,372ft)...and this is the order in which we climbed them.
