Greeks personalized their pagan
pantheon, and a powerful man would
have chosen one specific Deity to glean
its power, to take shelter therein, and
through certain religious rituals obtain a
specific goal. This same thread is seen
throughout many cultures including
Hinduism and its demi-gods, and even
shamanic based cultures and its spirits,
and the Great Satan of modern
materialistic/atheistic culture.
Son of God is used in biblical text to
point toward the will of God for creation,
and destiny of humanity in its unified
realization. A gift and grace from an
extremely loving and merciful God. The
gift of devotion for a humanity and
society well founded. No doubt a
‘grateful’ society, well guided.
The Hindu text Bhagavad Gita says ‘what
a great man does, others will follow’.
I am certain Jesus used the term this way
when he encouraged his disciples to pray
to the Father, when asking for things in
his name. God being the Crest Jewel in
the eyes of the devotees, who are
saturated in longing for love, and
devotional service.
Some schools of Hindu thought aspire to
become gods in self-realization; just
before final ‘emancipation’ or ‘self extermination’ (moksha and nirvana).
Such schools adhere to a shadow of
devotion, a trickster devotion, an
imposter of the jaded heart...
Human beings cultivate ‘sense
gratification and exploitation’, and after
much frustration and many years of not
being able to satisfy their impure desires,
will seek escape, and may turn to
religion. They are not driven by fear of
God based on a simple and pure heart,
but instead they seek religion for an
impure motive. So therefore, the desire
for salvation can also be a great
stumbling block for the human being
(with incorrect view), for the human
being who is driven by fear. Because
worldly things were never meant to
satisfy the deepest recess of the human
heart. Only love in its pristine nature can
it fill that void within the Cave of the
Heart. Only that form of love can truly
satisfy.
There are schools of Hindu and Vedic
philosophy though, such as the Vaisnava
bhakti (devotional) cults, that would
more easily grasp the brilliance of
Abrahamic mono-theistic vision. In these
bhakti cults becoming God is seen as the
greatest fall-down, greatest stumbling
block, and greatest sin. Which spoils rasa
(mellow and taste of devotional mood).
Desire for liberation in these cults is seen
as the final hurdle. Similarly the devout
muslim does not desire to bring forward
the Judgement Day, but instead cultivates
reverential fear of God, and aspires for
love of God. So too would the sincere
and devoutly intelligent christian, whose
heart is saturated in rasa, with correct
guidance.
May Allah bless Imam ‘Ahmad’ Al
Hassan Al Mahdi (pbuh)!
Jesus (a.s), the messenger, and a key
figure in these last days, always referred
to himself as the ‘son of man’. Denoting
the servitorship mood of a devotee, and
messenger to mankind. A Profound and
humble phrase, steeped in realization of
God's WIll.

14:12-14
12} Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall
he do also; and greater works than these
shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13} And whatsoever ye shall ask in my
name, that will I do, that the Father may
be glorified in the Son. 14} If ye shall ask
any thing in my name, I will do it.
15} If ye love me, keep my
commandments.
16} And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter, that he
may abide with you for ever;
17} Even the Spirit of truth; whom the
world cannot receive, because it seeth
him not, neither knoweth him: but ye
know him; for he dwelleth with you, and
shall be in you.

promised comforter and guide. And from
him the will of God has begun to unfold
in these last times once again.
Leaving aside scholars teachings, from
the Islamic and Christian schools of

thought, Simply let us reason for a little.
Like eager and hungry children, hungry
for comfort and guidance.
What does the ‘Son of God’ mentioned in
the Bible really mean to you?
As a small child I leave that in your heart
to ponder, within your innocent child’s
heart..... Just imagine!
But first, let us now discern what is
meant by the ‘son of perdition’. As
mature and reasoning adults, with
concern for real children of the world,
and what we want for them.
In this context I can boldy say, those who
do not accept the Yamani (pbuh), are the
children of hell. This is a clear directive
from the hand of Almighty God and His
will, and backed by the Hadith of Prophet
Mohammad (pbuh) and the Holy Quran.
Perdition come from error, incorrect
view, in the inability to humble oneself.
Whereas the ‘spirit of truth’ points clearly
to 'LA ILAH ILLALLAH'. (There is no
God, but God)
