èun nome molto bello , Nobile di Montepulciano , che indica da subito la collocazione all ’ interno di un ’ aristocrazia del vino . Ed è assai probabile che abbia contribuito alla fama di questa piccola città in provincia di Siena che oltre al suo nettare ha da offrire le torri , i palazzi e le chiese di un centro storico così bello e caratteristico da essere stato spesso set di grandi film internazionali . E poi le terme : acqua che contende al vino , senza però mai mischiarsi , le attenzioni dei visitatori . Quello che è certo è che questo rosso avvolgente non solo è uno dei 78 vini italiani a vantare la certificazione DOCG ( Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita ), ma è stato proprio il primo a ottenerla , nel 1981 .
