Viaggiare rende saggi ”. Così , sintetizzando un po ’ il concetto , scrisse l ’ inglese Richard Lassens , prete cattolico , viaggiatore e scrittore , il primo a usare il termine “ Grand Tour ”, nel libro The Voyage of Italy , or a Compleat Journey Through Italy , pubblicato a Parigi nel 1670 . Lassels invitava i giovani a visitare la Francia e l ’ Italia per alimentarsi della cultura indispensabile a vivere in modo profondo e consapevole . Anche noi , si parva licet , invitiamo il lettore a compiere un viaggio volto a conoscere il mondo e sé stessi . In questo numero ci rechiamo nei dintorni di Siena , utilizzando il mezzo sostenibile per eccellenza , il treno . Accostiamo la bellezza del Lago di Como , pieno di sorprese e di incanto . Conosciamo , o riscopriamo , tanti luoghi della nostra penisola attraverso i film di grandi cineasti . Ci tuffiamo nelle eccellenze enogastronomiche di territori da sogno , dalla Liguria alla Puglia , dalla Romagna alla Sicilia . E raccontiamo come la cura e la bellezza del territorio siano il pendant della cura e della bellezza di noi stessi , perseguite attraverso discipline millenarie come lo yoga , o poco più che centenarie come il tennis , o con geniali installazioni artistiche armoniosamente inserite nel paesaggio . Il fatto poi che il viaggio che raccontiamo affermi in modo originale e autentico il concetto di living experience in villa ( e non solo ), e che tale viaggio sia proposto da Emma Villas , è naturale come un fiume che arriva al mare . Perché il viaggio di Emma Villas è , e sarà sempre , quello dei suoi ospiti , alla scoperta dei territori e della loro bellezza , ed è quello dei proprietari , che amano le proprie dimore e le mettono a disposizione , condividendo un progetto di tutela del loro valore nel tempo . Il viaggio di Emma Villas , nell ’ ultimo scorcio del 2023 , ha segnato due tappe fondamentali . La prima , in ordine cronologico , è l ’ ingresso dell ’ azienda in Borsa ; la seconda il debutto di Chiara Travels , società costituita per accompagnare i clienti a scoprire situazioni , persone e posti , diversi e altrettanto belli , fuori dai confini italiani e a “ costruirsi ”, anche in questo caso , una vacanza a misura dei propri sogni . Il viaggio continua . Insieme .

Lassels invited the youth of the day to visit France and Italy to nourish their souls with the culture that is indispensable for profound , truly conscious living . We too invite our readers on a journey in order to experience the world and ourselves . The Emma Villas journey marked two significant milestones in the latter part of 2023 . The first – chronologically speaking – is the company ’ s listing on the stock exchange , and the second is the debut of Chiara Travels , a company set up to travel with our guests in discovering different and equally beautiful places , people and moments outside Italy and creating their dream holidays .
