Il giorno della quotazione , entrando a Palazzo Mezzanotte , sede della Borsa di Milano , riflettevo sulla storia di quel luogo ; è una deformazione professionale , d ’ altronde , ragionare sul pregio degli immobili … Scherzi a parte , è un palazzo che con il suo patrimonio artistico ha mantenuto , anche oggi , nell ’ epoca della massima digitalizzazione degli scambi , la propria riconoscibilità come cuore della finanza italiana . Le sue sale storiche e i suoi spazi esprimono tuttora una sintesi attorno a parole importanti per un ’ impresa e per l ’ economia :
