Favourite Places To Visit
DMZ – DREAM MUSEUM 3D TRICK ART – (Jl. Nakula no. 33x, Legian, Kuta, Indonesia) A great way
to spend a couple of hours – approximately 12 rooms of 3D trick art photo opportunities – each room has different
paintings on the walls/floors and if we’d taken a change of clothes “Maybe” our photos would look like we’d been
on a world tour! In each room there is a guide who helps you to pose in the right position and will take your pho-
tos…….there is also a small photo near each painting to show where to stand…….this museum is designed by a 3D
Team from South Korea. (Aud$11 entry)
Bali Safari Park – (Jl. Prof Ida Bagus Mantra Km, 19.8, 80551, Indonesia) http://balisafarimarinepark.
com/visitor-info - prices range from Aud$60 entry after 2pm through to exclusive package at Au$200 for the day –
we chose the “Jungle Hopper” package Aud$80/person – this doesn’t include lunch but does include an afternoon
tea. A must while here is the Safari trip, Elephant Show and the Tiger Show…..both shows highlighting the impor-
tance of conservation. While enjoying a day trip to Bali Safari we have our driver then take us to UBUD for either a
late lunch or early dinner………a variety of options available and we leave it to our diver to recommend. UBUD
also has a great range of retreats, spas, art and culture to offer.
BALI Countryside – many options that provide not only interesting country and farming views but also is
abundant in culture and history. We hire a driver for the day (approx. Aud$40-70). Many friends have also cycled
through the rice paddies and have enjoyed the “package” and were pleased with how easy the cycling was.
BALI “I will return” - my next visit is hopefully with both of my sisters
