Tutor
Pupils arriving at Sevenoaks School are
assigned to a Tutor, who looks after them,
helps them and guides them in all they do
during their time in the Lower School.
Tutors meet their group of tutees every
morning. Their aim is to help their tutees to
settle into a new environment, to get used
to new work habits and to get involved in
co-curricular activities. These meetings may
comprise a group discussion or one-to-one
time; some days may feature a quiz, game or
just some life organisation.
The Tutor is the first point of contact for
parents with any questions or concerns.
Pupils stay with the same Tutor for their two
years in the Lower School.
