WHAT NEXT ?
Subsequent years at Sevenoaks In the Middle School ( Years 9-11 ) students study ten subjects ; six compulsory and four of their choice , assessed through a variety of qualifications ( IGCSE , GCSE ). In addition , all students follow the Sevenoaks School Diploma . The Diploma gives students an opportunity to record many different elements of school life that can go unnoticed , develop personal qualities and attributes that make them more rounded , and provide them with the means to learn more effectively .
In the Sixth Form all students follow the IB Diploma programme , studying six subjects , three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level ( English , Maths , one language , one humanity , one science and one free choice ) and Theory of Knowledge . In addition , they must fulfil Creative , Action and Service requirements , and write an Extended Essay .
