It was after the divorce I found out they were dating the whole marriage, that was why he never wanted to go out with me, he was afraid someone would see him with his with and think he was cheating on his girlfriend. When you deal with someone who is cruel like that, which was why I lost myself, and why I felt ugly. So I needed to reinvent myself. Yes there was counseling involved, but I had to start on my inside with the reinvention of me. I needed to get to a place where my diva was comfortable again. Once I got to that place, then came my ah-huh moment in life, that was when I started taking on the physical part of my reinvention.
So reinvention of yourself, doesn’t have to be just a physical, it can be internal as well. Sometimes you need to reinvent yourself, so you can get to next chapter of your life. That what I am doing, I am starting the newest chapter of my life, and I am liking myself so much better because I have my inner diva smiling, and we both know, I am a great woman.
