The Lovely Pink Diva The Lovely Pink Diva | Page 22

Despite her pleas, the divorce did happen. It was about a week later, *Angie found out, the day after the divorce was finalized, her husband filed for a marriage certificate to another woman, she knew nothing about. She found out he had been having an affair, almost the entire time they were married. Later it came out; he only married her to get ahead in the corporate world.

*Angie went through a huge depression, she let being used affect her so much. She didn’t trust anyone. One day, the movie "The First Wives Club" was on. Suddenly, *Angie found her strength; the movie was her inspiration, to get over this creep of a husband. *Angie said in the email, "I wish there really was a "First Wives Club" for women like me and you.

I hope karma catches up with them; I know they will get justice one day." She went on to say the song that is her driving anthem is Alanis Morrisette song "You Outta Know." She said that song speaks to her, because how quickly she was replaced. It says what she wanted to say to him at the time but never did.

*Angie said she is trying to get her inner diva to come out and reading The Lovely Pink Diva, she realized, she can’t join a "First Wives Club," but she can find a peace like I did and will let the universe deal with the ex. She knows she has a fierce diva inside her and she wants to come out.

Despite the pleas, a divorce did happen. It was a few weeks after it was finalized that *Angie found out her ex had filed for a marriage certificate about 4 days later from divorce proceedings. She was in shock, she came to find out almost the entire time they were married he was having an affair, and he was marring this woman. Slowly the truth came out as to why he married her, it was only to get ahaed in corporate Americia.

The song that became *Angie's motivation was "You Outta Know" by Alannis Morisette. She said the song says what she wants to say to her ex. She said to me, "Why these guys do this to women is something she can not figure out. If they just would look at us, really look at us, they realize they had it all in someone, they could have had a happy life, instead they use it for greed." Another point *Angie said was, "Karma is a real thing, and what your ex did and what mine did, and to all those who gone through something simular, they will get theirs, we just wont see it. We dont see what is happening behind closed doors, but karma does catch up at one point, when it does, they will learn a life lesson."

*Angie is right, we can only go on and stay postive, let karma do the life lessons. It is hard when you go through something like this. Stay focused, and find that song that

speaks to you to get you through. If you want share your anthem for anything in life, it doesnt have to be a breakup. Please send an email to [email protected]
