“So, uh, wanna do this again? I mean, introducing ourselves? Not like the one before cuz I was in a rush there on Monday.”

“Oh, well ok, I was distracted by Rebecca trying to climb the tree so I can see your point.” he cleared his throat “Hi, I’m Clyde Walker, I go to the same school, and share the same science class with you. My birthday is in the summer. I like chemistry, video games, and swimming. What’s your name?”

I also cleared my throat

“My name is Leonardo Rodriguez, Leo for short. I go to the same school, and take the same science class with you. My birthday is in fall. I like baseball, sci-fi, sledding and baking. “Heh, me too Leo” I got up and brushed the snow off my pants. Clyde looked at the footprint trail, went up to it and quickly took a picture of it. Although I didn’t think he’s crazy, cuz I felt that happened to me today, I think there’s someone, or something happening in town. And if what happened to me are connected to those rumors, then RiverStone is in for a treat. I picked up my sled and the both of us parted ways.

It’s Saturday and the cloudy skies allowed the kids(including me) to have fun in the snow again. I see my mom placing rods on each side of our parkway for someone to plow it outside, there’s a bag of salt near the garage door. I looked at the sidewalk and saw a couple of people already pouring salt on the snow, many footprints big
