“A regular party will do.” I replied, I didn’t think of anything in particular. I just wanted a social event where I can actually meet people my age and not people from my familia.

“Boring party it is!” Clyde exclaimed. He seems so ecstatic with this, I don’t know whether or not I should break the news that I never wanted a party. But he seemed so happy with him after finding his sister. I guess I don’t wanna ruin the fun. “Thank you so much, uhh”

“Leo. Me llamo Leo. Also your sister is trying to climb up that tree behind you.”

“Huh?! Wh- REBECCA!!” He turned around to see her jumping up and down on a tree. It’s too fat to wrap her arms around it. He grabbed her by her waist which in return gave him a pout. I just sighed and said goodbye to him.

“YOU’RE ACTUALLY THROWING A PARTY???”

That was the first thing Nate said when I broke the news. I was hanging up the streamers in the afterschool center and on a ladder so I tried my best to be careful when talking to him and the others.

“Yeah, look I dunno how but I got someone at school to actually make it real.” I said. “Heck, I don’t even know how to throw one. Hey, can you pass me a few more?” Maya gave me a couple more streamers, she has a confused look on her face.

“B-b-b-but you said it was fake! You said it was a dream, I-I don’t get it. Why change your mind?” Nate was really confused by this statement. I think that everyone was shocked by what I had said.

“Heh, I’d be lying if I said I purposely changed my mind. Even I was surprised by this. I mean, I helped someone at my school find their lost sibling and they wanna return the favor. I couldn’t say no, so I said ‘hey I’m Having trouble throwing a party. Wanna help?’ I didn't know he’s actually helping me ‘plan the party.’”. I said. I noticed I’m out of tape so I climbed down to get another roll. On my way to the supplies closet I ran into my Mom.

“Oh me asustaste, hijo mio! Where are you going?” she asked, she’s in her daycare uniform, an ocean blue polo shirt with a silver name tag with her name “Maria” on her left breast.
