“Aren’t the mid-year exams next month?” a blonde boy with a baseball cap with a space pattern on it asked. 

“Well, yes, but I can’t let the class sit there and do nothing, I’m the teacher, it’s my job to teach you and prepare you for the future.”. Mr E. responded. Many of us sighed. I said to myself “Let’s get this over with.”. 

“Hey look, even the silent one spoke up, that’s when you know everyone’s tired.” a kid next to me said. Most of the class looked at me, I heard some people quietly talk about me, a few giggled. I just kept my head down and did my assignment in silence. I just want to fit in at my class for once. 

After the final bell at school rings everyone gets to go home. Thankfully my locker was near the exit so I was one of the few to exit the place. On my way to the center, I went past the popular kid group, some began their usual gossip about me. Archie turns his head to see me and waves goodbye to me, I just had my eyes down to the ground. 

While walking down the street to see my Mama, I see the boy with the yellow cap at an elementary school. School there ends at the same time with mine, therefore I see a bunch of little niños running outside the school. He tries to move past the swarm of little ones, I think he’s waiting for someone, someone who goes here I think. I try to keep going, until I hear his voice in my ears again. 

“Hey! HEY!! YOU THERE!!”. I turned to see him waving his arm at me. I pointed to myself, he pointed at me nodding his head. I shrugged and went over to him, ignoring the sea of children flooding the school reaching to get home. 

“Need something?” I asked, trying not to sound annoyed, I need to help Mama finish up with the decorations. I notice that he’s holding a sign on one hand, he looks a little scared.

“Um,” He sounds a little tired. “My little sister goes to this school and it’s hard to get her to see me when school ends. She’s easily distracted and gets lost almost everyday. So I made this sign in hopes that she can see me. Now I know we aren’t exactly friends, but can you help me on this one?”. I looked at the kids outside, it’s a lot, but it’s slowly decreasing by the amount
