Focus on MiniTech
Safelock Systems Ltd is a trade supplier of Safelocks
in the UK and Ireland, with over 30 years’ experience
covering LAGARD, Tecnosicurezza, and other
Safelock products. Directors Jasmine Hunt-Brown
and Tony Brown tell us more about the MiniTech:

the popularity of MiniTech has been
steadily growing, and with the latest
firmware updates, additional features
have marked the lock as a multi-function
premium option for a range of commercial
applications.
At the turn of the century, safelock
manufacturers Tecnosicurezza developed
the F-Series range of locks in partnership
with LAGARD. The TechMaster was a
natural evolution of the F-Series range,
encompassing advanced features such as
multi-lock and networking with remote
management.
There was however a clear need for
a lock with the same comprehensive
timelock display functions as the
TechMaster, but without the advanced
features, or number of users. MiniTech
was the solution, at an appropriate price
bracket.
USERS 02-49:

MiniTech contains a built-in clock,
allowing a weekly timelock schedule of
‘timelock active’ and ‘timelock inactive’ to
be programmed using the keypad. This is
used to manage opening by code-holders
preventing opening at unauthorised times,
such as during business closing hours.
The firmware also contains the ability to
specify dates and times where the timelock
schedule should not apply, such as for
bank holidays, or special opening days.
Automatic DST is programmed into the
lock by the manufacturer, to ensure that
the clock changes from winter-time to
summertime and back. The dates can be
amended and updated using software.

As standard, it is possible for the Manager
to initiate a block period – effectively
placing the lock into ‘timelock active’ until
a specified time and date in the future – up
to 31 days ahead. Standard users can also be
programmed to access this feature.

AUDIT
MiniTech has several audit options
available, with a maximum of 5,500 events
stored to the keypad and lock’s memory
