INDUSTRYNEWS • 29 PROUD SPONSORS OF THIS PAGE gate locks to the new, medium heavy duty commercial grade 5000 series, which now includes a key bypass model incorporating a 6 pin cylinder re-pinnable Yale style keyway. They also featured the “unique” 6000 series designed specifically for uPVC and composite  doors. Codelocks showed an extensive product range that lends itself to a wide variety of applications. The locks can be newly installed or retrofitted, and most of the products can be re-programmed on the door, without the need to remove the lock. Product lines include heavy duty locks that are ideal for high-traffic applications, locks with full-sized lever handles, and the option to choose between surface and mortice deadbolts and latches. The battery powered high- end locks perform functions that were only previously available in hard-wired systems relying on external power sources. ERA showcased their British Standard ranges of Mortice Locks, Nightlatches and Euro Cylinders all which carry the Neighbourhood Watch Approved Product Logo.  GU displayed the motorised Secury Automatic lock and samples of the brand new BKS BTC remote wireless single door access controlled panic lock and battery keypad. Mounted BKS panic locks demonstrated the range of functions available and they also introduced the new range of GU overhead door closers. Other well-established exhibitors included Hoppe, Fermax, Assa, JIS, PAC, LOCKSMITHJOURNAL.CO.UK | JUL/AUG 2017 Sponsored by SMP Security Solutions the MLA, Securefast, Souber Tools,TSS, Versa, WD-40, Wink Haus, and Sclak. DormaKaba took full advantage of the fine weather with their mobile showroom outside. The Virtual Reality Simulator offered some amusing entertainment! I always enjoy this event at which the hospitality is excellent, and where Duffells’ staff are very welcoming, informative and helpful. It was clear that the exhibitors clearly enjoyed demonstrating their products to working locksmiths and it is an event that is - not surprisingly - always well attended which demonstrated just how much it is appreciated by locksmiths. Even Duffells cannot always guarantee sunshine but on this occasion, it proved a worthwhile experience all round.
