They went on to design , manufacture and retail the award-winning Torc ground anchor , the Protector range of security chains , the Shed Shackle , the Anti-Pinch Pin and more innovative and practical security products .
Steve Briggs , Pragmasis , said : “ We were the first company manufacturing high-end motorcycle and bicycle physical security products to join SBD way back in 2010 . Several of our competitors , far larger companies than us , have recently followed our lead . The world of security is becoming more responsible and that helps to improve the deterrent that thieves see when trying to steal people ’ s property .
“ So often , products were designed to be easy to make and to be profitable , but
with little regard to how they should be installed , or used . We have always tried to go above and beyond what people expect : to make top quality products that are easy to install and easy to use , and indeed easy to use correctly . This customer consideration and our attention to detail have been our hallmarks throughout our 20-year history and we are proud to continue the same way .”

The business helps fund another passion , an ancient woodland wildlife site closeby called Alvecote Wood – full of ancient trees , coppice , ponds , wildflower meadows and a new nine-acre native woodland called Betty ’ s Wood .
