BREAK SECURE ® 3XP
Built as an extension of the existing MTL™300 platform, the MTL™300 Break Secure ® 3XP Pro has been engineered specifically to meet the latest revisions of SS312 Diamond, has been tested against the updated TS007-1:2024 3-star methods, and holds Secured by Design accreditation to provide standalone protection and postattack security.
Central to the design is a sacrificial break section intended to activate under force while continuing to protect access to the locking mechanism itself.
Most forced-entry attacks against residential cylinders are designed to create rapid access through destructive methods, particularly snapping and direct physical attack against the external cylinder body. Revised standards are increasingly assessing how effectively a cylinder continues protecting the cam and internal locking system once compromise begins.
Alongside attack protection, residential specification is also placing greater emphasis on durability and key control.
The MTL™300 Break Secure ® 3XP Pro exceeds BS EN1303 Grade 6 requirements and has been tested beyond one million operation cycles, reflecting growing demand for products capable of delivering both high security performance and long-term reliability within high-use residential environments.
