We launched the Tedee Smart Lock at the MLA Expo 2023 , and it has quickly gained momentum , with daily inquiries flooding in . Demand for installations has been so strong that we ’ re planning to build a network of approved installers in 2025 . Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive , with customers praising its ease of installation , quiet operation , and sleek but modern design .

MLA Open Day In September , APECS proudly exclusively showcased the APECS cylinders , the Tedee smart lock , and the new UPVC / Composite Handles at the MLA Open Day .
The event was a great success , featuring product demonstrations , a hog roast , a raffle , and plenty of freebies .
We ’ re excited to announce plans to support the next MLA Open Day in March , continuing to highlight our growing range of innovative products .

Natasha ’ s Milestone & The First MLA Baby ?
In January , I ’ ll be celebrating six incredible years with APECS . It ’ s been amazing to witness the company grow from a small operation with just two employees to a full-fledged distribution centre with nearly 20 staff . We ’ ve got even more expansion plans on the horizon .
It ’ s true what they say : hard work really does pay off . Watch this space for what ’ s next …
On a personal note , I ’ m excited ( and pretty certain ) to be welcoming the first MLA baby in January and will be starting my maternity leave at the beginning of 2025 .
Even so , I ’ m already planning to attend the next MLA show in October — I just can ’ t miss it . ( After all , the baby wouldn ’ t be here if it weren ’ t for the MLA ).
While I ’ m on maternity leave , the sales office team will be ready and happy to assist with any inquiries or support you might need .

Our success is thanks to the introduction of exciting new products like modular cylinders , matte black euros , UPVC / composite handles , and multicoloured key blanks . This , alongside our modular training sessions , new partnerships , becoming members of the GAI and Secured by Design , and the addition of new team members , has made 2024 a truly memorable year . A huge thank you to our loyal customers — none of this would be possible without your support . Looking ahead , 2025 promises to be just as exciting . We ’ re working on a new ERP system , a refreshed website , innovative product ranges , and gearing up to exhibit at the FIT Show and MLA Shows . APECS continues to grow and innovate , setting the stage for even greater success in the year ahead .
