r. John Hiemstra, Professor of Political Studies and Dean
of the Faculty of Social Sciences at King’s attended “The
Future of Creation Order” in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on
August 16 – 19, 2011. This International Philosophy Conference
[website, www.cpc2011.org] focused on the occasion of the
75th anniversary of the Association for Reformational [Christian]
Philosophy. This philosophical tradition grew out of the same
Kuyperian or neo-Calvinist tradition which originally gave shape
to the King’s University College. It was heavily influenced by
Abraham Kuyper, a theologian and former prime minister (190105) of the Netherlands.
