John 3:16 . Over 2,000 years ago Jesus
offered Himself as a penance for all
of our sins. He accepted the fate of
the cross, so that you and I may
receive His Salvation and His Grace.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE THIS GIFT ?
To receive this gift that Jesus has
freely given unto us, we must first be
saved. We must accept Jesus Christ
as our only Lord and Saviour. Since
sin is what separates us from God, as
John 3:3 states “Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God.”
It is only through our
repentance of all sins and turning
our backs upon them that we can we
begin to see His face and experience
His presence in all its Glory.
WHAT IS BEING SAVED?
When you are saved, you are born
again. This means that you are a
“new creation”. You have accepted
God in all His Glory and your old life
is no more. It is a thing of the past,
and most importantly your sins are
FORGIVEN.
Micah 7:19 “He will turn again, He
will have compassion upon us; He
will subdue our iniquities; and thou
wilt cast all their sins into the depths
of the seas.”

FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
If we take a look back at John 3:16, it
also states that we must believe in
Him, in His word and His promise
we must step out upon our faith.
Faith is a major part of the Christian
life and we must use it to get closer
to God. Just as Peter stepped out
upon the waves when Jesus called to
him, He is also calling to us, calling
to us to receive tis gift, which is only
attainable through Him.
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by
me.”
