The blinding sunlight woke me like a piercing alarm running through my mind . My head was throbbing , my body aching , a pain I just couldn ’ t get rid of . I gathered all my strength and pulled myself off my bed . I slowly walked to the door . When I stopped and saw the tired image of myself in the mirror , I pushed myself to go on .
I walked through the corridor when I saw two siblings playing together . “ Leo , Come on !! Let ’ s go play in the garden !”, the older girl exclaimed . A small boy followed her . I shook my head slightly , thinking I was in a trance . Leo …. I have heard that name . My brain was trying to recollect where I heard that name , while I slowly walked down the stairs .
I saw many people coming through the front door . They were all wearing black suits and dresses . Somehow , I managed to reach the bottom of the door . A girl about my age came to me and held my hand . “ How are you ?”, she asked . I looked at her , with a speechless expression on my face . She said , “ Poor Leo , he deserved a long life .” I was stiff as a corpse . Suddenly , I remembered , I was the girl calling Leo . Leo was my brother .
