ATHLETICS Highlights
It was another exciting year for CHS Athletics , with lots of opportunities for student participation — both on teams and beyond – and many successes !
Highlights included participating in Provincials for eight of our nine eligible sports including the Junior team competing for the first time in the basketball Provincials , and the CHS teams competing for the first time in the golf Provincials – winning gold – and in the soccer Provincials – winning silver . In the Senior School , “ Participation was encouraged through team and sports expansion , as well as through hosting community-building activities that encompass athletic movement , confidence and teamwork . It has been a great success ,” says Ms Tricia Cohee , Program Coordinator , Athletics , Senior School .
