I wrote this song about my true experience involving an abusive relationship. He thought he was “God’s gift to women, and always bragged about how “crazy” he was. His attitude was that he thought he was Prince Charming, wearing his crown and flaunting his abusive authority; hence, my lyric, “I climb back up and rip off your ‘IMAGINARY CROWN’.
He always underestimated me , thinking I was a weak woman who would follow his orders. So my hook in the song is, “ YOU AINT SEEN CRAZY YET”. I am showing him and telling him he will never be able to push me around.
