BACK TO SCHOOL !

September will soon be upon us and Most importantly - play ! Go to the park , for many of our children , it will be a big have a picnic , visit friends and family , step in their life . Some things to do with your child between now and the start of school :
• Help children to recognize their name
• Singing songs and read stories : talk to your child about what they can see
• Promote some independence : encourage them to get dressed and undressed
CURIOSITY
In Germany , this special day is celebrated with the whole family and friends and a special tradition called “ sugar cone ”, sometimes as big as themselves . The Schultüte tradition goes back to the early 1800s . On their first day of school , children traditionally receive a cone shaped bag or “ Tüte ” filled with treats and toys , to make starting real school just a little bit sweeter .
