Many see reviewing as an unnecessary process best left to geeks; however, I wanted to learn more about beer, train my palate, and broaden my beer vocabulary.
I rather enjoyed the request for me to cover a few Micro Beers & Breweries. The challenge for me being a non-beer drinker, at least not since college, was to find something I didn’t mind tasting, and with the entire local, regional and national boutique Micro-Beers & Breweries, I can comfortably say it seems to be quite easy.
I chose a bottle of Angry Orchard’s Crisp Apple Cider, yes I know its Hard Cider, a girl has to start somewhere, on the recommendation of my nephew / intern, since I was at a Birthday Party, didn’t really feel like drinking, and thus this was the best choice.
“Crisp Apple is a Crisp & refreshing cider, its fresh apple aroma & slightly sweet, ripe apple favor make it hard to resist”.
Flavor Profile:

While waiting for my appetizers I decided to check out the website angryorchard.com to see what other type drinks I could make with this beer, and stumbled (no pun intended) upon one that I will surely be ordering during weekend brunch.
“Angryosa” their take on another one of my favorite Sunday drinks, the Mimosa, and this is way better & cheaper I might add.
