more rock driven but we have no problem taking the next one in a a new direction if that’s what we’re inspired to do. Each release is representative of who we are at the time.

Where do you record all of your music, I did read somewhere that when you started out you used your parents shed?

Interesting… At most, we did some preliminary scratch tracks in our parents garage but that’s about it. The first EP, “Earth Tones & Red” was recorded at a church in Long Beach by our long time friend, Kerie Roark, of Pirate Rock Production. “Organ Donor” and “Our Third” were recorded and produced at the Music Box Studios by Jon O’Brien.

When it comes to writing songs, where do you draw your inspiration from and is it a joint effort or do you have a main songwriter in the group?

There’s generally a “seed” that begins the song writing process for us. The seed could be a guitar riff, bass line, vocal melody, or even a drum part. It has to be something we all agree will grab the listener. A part that is strong enough to be the common thread even as the dynamics of the song change. We all play an equal part in the song writing process.

What are the pitfalls of being an Indie Rock Band?

Telling people you’re in an indie rock back and watching them either discreetly or blatantly roll their eyes. Everyone is in one nowadays. We don’t let it bother us too much though.

Who deals with your promotions? Do you have a manager or are you doing it all by yourselves?

We do it ourselves. We all play a part.

Do you interact with your fans on Social Network, if so what one is working the best for you?

We love interacting with fans.

The fact that we have people who like our music is still thrilling. Instagram is our social media outlet of choice.
