Tasha Stevens and Sabrina Links have been best friends who have shared every secret but Tasha is keeping a secret….she accidentally fell in love with her best friends’ husband billionaire, Tim Horne.

When I first read the synopsis for The Stranger Next To Me, I kindly rolled my eyes and moved on to the next book but something brought me back. And after reading the sample, I knew I had to download it. And I was immediately taken with how Tasha Stevens laid back attitude was portrayed compared to her confident gorgeous best friend, Sabrina Links.

When Tasha and Tim initially met there was not attraction between the two, so I was definitely curious to see how the

relationship would progress.

It was refreshing to see how Tim, who

originally seemed like an untouchable billionaire let his guard down and seem human. And when they finally

acknowledged the growing attraction they did the sensible thing and limited their contact but circumstance always brought them together.

The one thing I really enjoyed about Strangers was author LaShawn Vasser ability to create some seemingly vapid characters have heart when you thought there was no redemption.

And even though this book is listed in the BWWM (Black Woman White Male) genre, race is only mentioned when describing features and nor was it a factor to hinder the progression of the story. This made reading Tasha and Tim’s story even more enjoyable.

After reading Strangers I definitely plan to dive into Vesser other books.
