Thanks to Akima’ s support, these young athletes had everything they needed to compete: Travel, uniforms, awards, and the full range of resources that make a tournament like this possible. But our contribution went far beyond logistics— it helped create opportunities for youth to build confidence, learn discipline, and experience the power of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
In a season when outdoor activities are limited by cold and snow, this tournament provided not just a physical outlet, but a meaningful way to bring communities together, celebrate youth achievement, and reinforce the values that will shape the next generation of leaders.
We’ re incredibly proud to support these young athletes and the vibrant spirit they bring to the court— and to their communities.

To make learning even more dynamic, the Akima team hosted interactive, career-focused activities, including hands-on Scratch coding sessions and a maze-navigation challenge designed to introduce programming fundamentals in a fun and engaging way.
