Community There are several festivals this summer that are all about the communities they’re located in. The Kingsville Community Festival is a newcomer, while the Essex Fun Fest and Belle River Sunsplash are familiar favourites. Check out the car shows, the baby contests and carnival atmosphere these celebrations provide. For a more traditional approach to the community fair, don’t miss the Leamington Fair in June, the Comber Fair in July and the Harrow Fair on Labour Day weekend, where you’ll find agricultural, artistic and entertainment offerings from local residents. Summer kicks off with the Fusion Festival, followed immediately by two more weekends of culture villages in our Carrousel of the Nations. In one day, you could dine on falafel and souvlaki, see belly dancers or Chinese acrobats and jam to British pop music. But the celebration of culture is only getting started.
