Viewpoints The colour model successfully incorporated my idea of having viewpoints from one space into another, to make multiple colours visible from the same place. The analytical photography below, shows snapshots of some of the views through various apertures that I was able to create. Apertures full of colour Entrance The Image above is a photo-montage of the entrance to the colour model, located at the existing entrance on the working model. Given the vehicle and pedestrian aces will still operate most efficiently from the north side of the building, due to the proximity to the road, it would make sense to keep the existing location of the entrance. I really like the composition of this entrance in the colour model, as the geometries and apertures draw you into the space. This photo-montage triggered a visualisation of the space, which I have diagrammed below. I imagined an open-plan reception/living room, with a section of double height ceiling and a staircase with storage underneath. An informal, flexible space that was functional but had a homely feel to it. 12 14
