Developing a Colour Pallet
These paint swatches show my chosen colour
pallet for my scheme. Derived initially from a
study of Helen Frankenthalers painting,
Beginnings, observing the use of harmonious
tones and hues of primary triadic colours. The
combination of colours is neither dominantly
masculine of feminine, which will help to achieve
my genderless, fluid spaces. The pallet is
contemporary, and by using the colours
sensitively along with grey and white, it will be
possible to achieve comfortable spaces.

Painting Pieces of rectangular white card with
my chosen colour pallet, I then began to cut and
piece these together inside my working model.
This process was very organic as I followed my
instinct and the rhythm of the building,
responding each time to the shapes and colours I
had previously placed in the building. The process
was similar to making a 2D collage and the result
was a dynamic, engaging form, which the study
of, would fuel the rest of my design.
