Thrifty Living Boutique Has New Manager
Joy Tracey is the new manager of
Thrifty Living Boutique in LaGrange.
The business, located at 301 South Detroit Street, generates funds to support
the programs of Elijah Haven Crisis
Intervention Center.
Joy brings ten years of business
experience to the position. She previously worked as office manager at
Kendallville Fertilizer until its closing
earlier this year. A twelve-year 4-H
club leader, Joy and her husband, Kent,
have two sons. Clay, 22, and his wife,
Caitlin, have a son, Case. John, 15, is
a sophomore at Prairie Heights High
School. The Traceys live on a farm west
of Stroh.
Thrifty Living Boutique offers
used household items, furniture, toys,
games, books and movies. All proceeds
from sales are used by Elijah Haven to
provide various services for victims of
domestic violence, as well as to promote awareness of the subject.
The Boutique is in need of clean,
usable items and especially welcomes
garage sale leftovers. Clothes donated
to the Boutique that cannot be used by
Elijah Haven are given to the Clothes
and Food Basket. Pick up of donated
items may be arranged by calling
Tracey at 260-350-1727. Information
on volunteering at Thrifty Living is
