I have been extremely blessed with the opportunity to hunt, fish and walk some of the most beautiful land that our country has to offer. This tradition was passed to me from my mother and father. I am now getting the opportunity to pass the outdoor tradition on to others. I don’t think there is anything I enjoy more than spending time with my family and friends outdoors. My wife and I had an adventure recently with some friends, traveling to the north country of Michigan. There, nature has plenty of outdoor opportunities. One was experiencing the bright and dull colors: ambers, reds and oranges as they blazed with brilliance as the season changes for the trees. We also had a learning experience. It was about the cycle of life for salmon. We experienced the sight of many female coho, sockeye, and steelhead salmon as they raced up the fast paced flow of the river to lay their eggs.
