Council On Aging INDOT Vehicle Match   Cheri Perkins (far left), Executive Director of  the LaGrange County Council on Aging, and Kristyn Steele (center), Transportation Director, accept a $2,000 check from Laura Lemings (far right), Executive Director of  the LaGrange County Community Foundation, toward the purchase of a medical transportation vehicle for the COA transportation program LCAT. The vehicle purchase is part of a grant opportunity available through the Indiana Department of Transportation. Due to its smaller and more efficient size, the new vehicle will be used for smaller numbers of passengers traveling at longer distances specifically for medical treatment. The Community Foundation funding will be used as part of the required local match for the INDOT vehicle purchase. The mission of the Community Foundation is to inspire and sustain generosity, leadership and service.
