SRMA Receives Bronze Pillar Award The Shipshewana Retail Merchants Association (SRMA) was recognized recently with a Bronze Pillar Award from the Parkview LaGrange Foundation. The Pillar Awards recognize an organization’s cumulative giving through the Parkview LaGrange Foundation. The SRMA was a leader in providing funds that enabled the purchase of power cots for the LaGrange County EMS ambulances. “We deeply appreciate the SRMA members’ support,” said Jen Will, coordinator of the Parkview LaGrange Foundation. “Their gift helped us meet the matching grant requirements through the Olive B. Cole Foundation and equip the remaining ambulances in the county with power cots. These cots dramatically increase the safety and efficiency of patient transport in emergency situations – for both patients and emergency personnel.” Left to right: SRMA board members Judy Yoder, Levi King and Nate Jones; Parkview LaGrange Foundation coordinator Jen Will; and hospital COO, Rob Myers.
