Is there a fireplace going? Pick a place that is appropriate for the weather. Step three, select the proper place to sleep: a bed, a hammock, the ground, a La-Z-Boy, the couch, a little enclave in a classroom, etc. Got one picked out? Good job. Time to pick the proper sleeping attire. Consider your surroundings. Should you shed some clothing to be comfortable where you are? Should you get a blanket and pillow? A fan? Get what you need. Now, time to rest properly. Should you lay on your side, back, stomach, etc? If you picked the corner of the classroom, laying down may seem uncomfortable so you go for the sitting up-leaning against a corner approach. This actually is very uncomfortable and you should use your knitting project as a pillow and curl up in a ball on the floor. Step something or other, how long should you sleep? A 15 minute power nap is great when you have important things to do. Set an alarm, internal or cell phone. Maybe you are tired enough, and have time for, an extended nap. No need to set the alarm, let your natural sleep cycle take over! In three hours you should awaken feeling refreshed! Try not to be awakened earlier than that because you will have sunk into REM cycle and will be extremely groggy upon awakenment. Step last, forget this article, then do what you normally do ... drink copious amounts of coffee or caffeinated beverages!
