Also, just a reminder ... the contest is only for kids up to six years old. Seven year olds aren’t eligible to enter BUT we would LOVE to see their drawings in our drawing contest (page 69)! New Principal ... cont. from pg. 1 Randy was a member of the first ever state championship basketball team at Westview in 1999. He will join many of his former teachers and coaches at Westview, including his former basketball coach Troy Neely. Neely, jokingly said, “I hope Randy doesn’t make me run “minute drills” in payback for his playing days under me.” Miller said, “I look forward to working with the Westview community and building lasting relationships. It will be an honor to serve in the corporation in pursuit of excellence. It is my intention to do everything possible for student success. Furthermore, I am excited to collaborate with the Westview staff and to continue to grow professionally.” pg 64 · The Hometown Treasure · May ‘12 Westside Bike Shop 6545 S SR 5 • Topeka, IN 46571 • 260.593.3415 Hours: Monday - Friday Noon-5:30 • Saturday 8-Noon New Bicycles & Repairs Diamond Back Bikes • Bike Trailers Specialized Bikes • Trailmate Bikes
