Part of the reason we have been able to keep advertising rates in our paper so low and distribute them for free in our local area is because we rely heavily on the community and the schools to help provide news. The new construction will include increased foyer space, new rest rooms, a new infant nursery, and over 1,000 square feet of unfinished basement for future classrooms. Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene built their current building 50 years ago, added on in 1973, and built a parsonage in 1986. “We are just continuing to grow on the foundation that was laid before us,” said Pastor Dayton. “That’s why our ground breaking included charter members and children. Our past is embracing our future!” The church is located at 2695 N 900 West, between 250 N and Shipshewana Lake. Drive by to watch the construction, or visit ShipshewanaNazarene.com.
