4-H Decade by Jerry Hostetler The Sixtieth Annual LaGrange County 4-H Fair will be held this month, July 6-13. 2013 Westview graduates will be recognized for their ten years of participation in 4-H. Parker Fought*, Morgan Jantzi, Nate Raber, Nic Raber and Randi Schrock*. Many people will attend the 4-H fair to enjoy the entertainment, food and the rides, but without the many hardworking young 4-H participants the fair fun wouldn’t be possible. On opening day of this year’s fair, five Morgan Jantzi Morgan Jantzi, daughter of Jon and Michelle Jantzi of Shipshewana, became interested in 4-H at a very early age as she watched her older cousins take care of their animals to prepare them for the 4-H fair. She also mentioned her general love of animals as generating her interest in 4-H. In her years of participation in 4-H, Morgan has been involved in photography for four years and has received First Honors at the fair in that field. She’s also been active with goats for ten years.
