Adventure Bound Day Camp
The Adventure Bound Day
Camp is Aug. 1-5 and is for 12
to 15 year old children. Activities include challenge initiatives,
ropes course, canoeing the Pigeon River, swimming and
other outdoor recreation. This camp meets at various
locations with a schedule provided upon registration.
All camps are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and participants
are responsible for finding their own transportation to
and from camp. Cost is $30 per participant.
David Rogers Days
David Rogers Memorial Park will be hosting their
annual David Rogers Days festival August 27 and 28.

Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons are offered at Dallas Lake Park
Beach for children age five and older. Swimmers may
sign up for one of three different two-week sessions.
The first is from June 27 to July 8, with no lessons on
July 4. The second session is July 11 through 22 and
final lessons are July 25 through August 5.
Each session includes ten 50 minute classes, once
per day for two weeks. Class fee is $30 per child.
LaGrange County Parks Summer Recreation also
features summer day camps for youth ages six to 15.
Nature Bound Day Camp
There are three Nature Bound Day Camps. Six to
eight year olds may choose either July 11 through 15
or July 25 through 29. It is available for nine to eleven
year olds July 18 through 22. Nature Bound Day Camps
are for five days, 9 .m. to 3 p.m. and cost $30 per child.
By Gone Days Camp
By Gone Days Camp for eight to eleven year olds is
June 27 through July 1. This five day camp concentrates
on pioneer and indian games and crafts. Additional
information will be mailed upon registration. Camp
is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $30 per participant.
