The Shipshewana Park Department
is hosting a public meeting to discuss a
Five Year Park and Recreation Master
Plan. The public meeting will be held
on Wednesday, January 9, at 6:00
pm at the Wolfe Community Building in Shipshewana. Representatives
from Region III-A Economic Development District and Regional Planning
Commission will attend to discuss
their report.
A 5-Year Park Master Plan is
required by the Indiana Department of
Natural Resources (DNR) to apply for
federal grant funding for both Land
and Water Conservation Fund and
the Recreational Trails Program. DNR
Division of Outdoor Recreation Grant
programs could possibly assist the
