Photo submitted by Paul Baker The Westview boys track team participated in the indoor Hoosier State Relays in March. Westview Junior Trey Kennedy and Senior Nate Raber finished second and third respectively in pole vault competition. Freshman Lindon McDonald finished fourth in high jump with a jump of six feet. McDonald, Kennedy, Parker Fought and Max Laughlin garnered a sixth place finish in the 4 x 200M relay. Westview placed ninth out of forty-nine teams that participated in the relays. The teams consisted of 1A, 2A and 3A schools throughout the state of Indiana. Photo submitted Paddle for Parkview Seeking Sponsors The Parkview LaGrange Foundation will be hosting the annual “Paddle for Parkview.” This fourth annual event will take place at the Trading Post Canoe Kayak & Campground in Mongo the afternoon of Friday, June 14.  Participants will have a choice between two paddle options; a family-friendly leisurely seven mile paddle down the Pigeon River or a more challenging 13mile paddle. Those participating in the event will be “paddling” in support of Parkview LaGrange Hospital’s Community Health & Wellness Initiatives which includes the upcoming group wellness site in partnership with the Cole Family YMCA. Parkview LaGrange Foundation is asking for community support as it strives to provide valuable preventative health and wellness services to their friends and neighbors.  They are asking businesses to consider sponsoring this event. Deadline for sponsorship reservations is Friday, May 17.
