David is the Director of Heat and Energy Ltd , and has over 35 years ’ experience in the eco industry . He holds a Masters degree in Sustainable Architecture and is a regular contributor to Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine . David has had a long term interest in the performance of building fabrics as well as the development of building methods that complement the local environment and the intended lifestyle patterns of the occupants , combined with the sensitive use of appropriate renewable and conventional heat and energy systems .
Tom McSherry
Tom has worked in the financial services industry for 27 years - 14 of these specialising in self-build mortgages and finance at BuildStore , providing expert advice to hundreds of customers embarking on major homebuilding projects whether to live in , let or sell . Tom has completed two major homebuilding projects himself , and is widely regarded as a self-build finance expert . Michael Holmes
Michael is one of the country ’ s leading property experts who has spent 12 years presenting multiple property shows for BBC , lTV , Channel 5 , Discovery RealTime and UK TV Style . As well as being Director of Homebuilding & Renovating and Chair of the National Custom and Self-Build Association ( NaCSBA ) Michael offers Development Consultancy on projects ranging from private homes to hotels . In addition to this he has undertaken over 30 building projects of his own - including renovations , remodels and two self-builds .
Sally Tagg
