2020 KORN FERRY TOUR QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT The Korn Ferry Tour is one of the ways professional golfers can make it to the PGA TOUR. There were a number of IJGA alumni who attempted to qualify for the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour. The qualifying is conducted in four stages - Pre-Qualifying, First, Second and Final. There were six alumni who made it to the final stage of 2020 qualifying, including: Patrick Flavin, Jordan Hahn, Nick Hardy, Brad Hopfinger, Andy Pope, and Vince India. Some of the other individuals who attempted to qualify include: Josh Esler, Chris French, Tee-K Kelly, Kyle Kochevar, Charlie Netzel, Brian Ohr, Raymond Knoll, Daniel Hudson, Jeff Kellen, and Kyle Slattery. Hahn was the only IJGA alumni to have made it through the first three rounds, having played in Pre- Qualifying, the First Stage and the Second Stage in order to advance to the Final Stage. The 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Final Stage Qualifying begins on December 12, 2019 and the final round will be contested on December 15, 2019. Kim Manages LPGA Star IJGA alumna Jennifer Kim was working at the Golf Center just north of Chicago when she met Inbee Park’s husband. Later that week she ran into him again at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. He introduced Kim to his friend who worked for the Korean talent agency Bravo and New. He asked her to send over her resume, a month later his team reached out to her asking if she was serious about working with them. Kim became the personal manager for Jeongeun Lee6, who was poised to start her rookie year on the LPGA Tour. Kim, who is bilingual, travels with Lee6 and was with her when she won the the 2019 U.S. Women’s Open at the Country Club of Charleston. Their next goal is to play in the upcoming Summer Olympics.
