ALUMNI IN THE HEADLINES SINGHSUMALEE FINISHES RUNNER-UP Alumna Bing Singhsumalee has had a successful fall season as a member of the Fighting Illini Women’s Golf Team. The team finished the fall season with three wins, two of them coming as back- to-back victories. Singhsumalee carded back-to-back runner-up finishes. The first coming at the Cardinal Cup, where she finished with an even-par total, the second was at the Trinity Forest Invitational, where she finished with a 1-under-par tournament total. During the second round of the Trinity Forest Invitational, she carded an impressive 3-under-par 69. Singhsumalee’s back- to-back top-three finishes marks a first in her career. TENUTA FINISHES RUNNER-UP Alumnus Nicholas Tenuta, who is a member of the Regis University Men’s Golf Team, finished the RMAC Fall Preview as the runner-up after carding rounds of 72 and 71, giving him a tournament total of 143. Tenuta’s team finished tied for third with a score of 602. Earlier this year, Tenuta played in the U.S. Amateur. MIAMI FINISHES IN EIGHTH AT CHATHAM HILLS COLLEGIATE The Miami University Men’s Golf Team finished in eighth place at the Chatham Hills Collegiate in October. The team was lead by alumnus Charlie Nikitas, who carded an even-par 72 during the final round. He finished the tournament T12 with a 2-under-par total. Also carding an even-par final round was fellow alumnus Brian Ohr, who ultimately finished T25 with a 2-over-par total. Also on the team is alumnus Jack Mortell. 8 Illinois Junior Golf Association
