The Golf Shop will be sticking with the same hours of operation starting in January . We will be open from 8 a . m . to 5 p . m . weather permitting . This upcoming season we will be getting in some new brands throughout the year so please be on the lookout in our weekly eblasts . If you are looking to keep the rust off during the winter months , please contact Richard Rice , our Director of Instruction at rrice @ colonialheritageclub . com
Our league play will start back up in March . If you are interested in joining one of our leagues stop by the golf shop and speak with Justin or Corey . Our first event of the season will be on March 7th “ Ice Breaker ”. This event will be a captain ’ s choice tournament open to all members and residents .
SYNDIA RICHARDSON , EXECUTIVE CHEF As 2023 comes to a close we are so excited about the ongoing improvements to our menu .
With a successful Thanksgiving brunch behind us , My team and I had so much fun getting into the Christmas spirit with holiday themed buffets and specials , that we look forward to continuing this “ new tradition ” into the new year . Look for special themed menus in the coming months to help us celebrate Mardi Gras , Valentine ’ s , St Patrick ’ s day-and even President ’ s Day !
Of course , we will also be doing a Winter menu to better highlight seasonal produce and seafood ! It not only allows us to keep providing CH residents with an ever-evolving menu , but also allows us to maintain a consistency in the quality and value of the food that we serve .
We also enjoy the feedback that we get from our guests about what they would like to see-so we will definitely continue to do weekly specials . Since there are so many items that can sometimes vary drastically in cost throughout the year , the specials give us a great opportunity to be able to serve some favorite dishes at better value over the course of the year .
Since the feedback on our themed buffet nights has been so positive , residents can count on us to continue that program-and also to continue the “ resident choice ” buffets on the final Tuesday of each month . So remember : keep giving us your choices for what “ theme ” or style of cuisine you would like to see on those nights- and we will listen !
The last few menus have provided some real “ fan favorites ” so we are also looking forward to establish some Colonial Heritage signature dishes that we can proudly serve when visitors come to see us . Speaking of signature dishes , since we have had so much success with our Fall soups , we can ’ t wait to serve the Winter signature soups in the new year ! We expect our rich and savory cold weather soups to be real crowd pleasers in 2024 . In fact , since several residents have been asking for recipes to some of our dishes , I have included the recipe for one of our winter soups on page 13-so Bon Appetit !
As the new year begins , I want to thank the residents who have been so kind and supportive of our renewed efforts to provide the dining experience that they so richly deserve . My team and I are truly excited to continue growing the partnership between Up to Par and Colonial Heritage , and we will continue to strive to make each guests experience a great one . Happy New Year !
