GOLF SHOP UPDATES
JUSTIN FIELD , PGA DIRECTOR OF GOLF
Golf has been doing well this season as long as the weather cooperates which is a good sign . I think our first membership drive did very well than anticipated , generating over 20 new memberships . We have done well with golf shop sales given the situation that we have been dealt . We are still offering everything that we would normally have just at a limited capacity . We have brought in some new lines this season . Sunday Swagger for both men and women . Skort Obsession for women and Swannies shirts for men . We also have done well with our Richardson logo hats . Richardson is the # 1 selling hat in the country .
We have seen wonderful participation in league play this season . Thank you to our MGA , LGA , and Monday Rec League leadership . Our tournaments this season have done well . We saw great participation with our Armed Forces Challenge and our LGA-sponsored Women ’ s Day of Golf . We still have a few great events remaining this season .

GREEN UPDATES
ZEKE MARSHALL , GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT
Golf course maintenance has been going very well this summer so far . Staffing levels have been maintained and has contributed to keeping up with the course in a timely manner . So far it has been a very hot and dry summer . We got our first measurable rainfall June 27th of a half inch after five weeks of no rain . With our staff we have been able to do some side jobs apart from daily maintenance . We stripped out the fescue around # 3 and # 14 greens and sodded them in bermuda grass . Also we have almost finished with cleaning up of the bunkers i . e . edging , removing weeds and adding sand to make them more playable . Another good note is we finally hired a mechanic and he joined the team on July 1 .
