Lavender Essential Oil Safety Tips 1. Avoid using it in pregnancy and especially the first 3 months. Avoid it if you are breastfeeding. 2. Avoid using it on young children due to premature breast development. 3. Avoid it if you have low blood pressure. 4. Do not use it alone for more than 2 months as it may cause sensitization. 5. Always buy essential oils from a reputable vender to avoid using adulterated oils. Do not confuse essential oil with fragrance oils since the latter do not have the healing properties.
