an active member of the community now,
we wanted to do this for the local community. it is good that we will rotate out the
work as the seasons change as well. this is
our first year doing this. We will see how it
works out. if it is successful it will be ongoing,” aMi Marketing Director Carla
Wyatt said.

artwork.
“Showing off the artwork from the local
arts center is great, and having the opportunity to display it and getting people interested in the arts is what we are striving to
achieve,” falciani said.
Bruno, who worked with atlantiCare
aMi to get artwork from the Hammonton
arts Center into the medical building, stated
that anytime there is an opportunity to hang
some art on a wall it is a positive.
“i know atlantiCare itself has a great art
program, so they understand that concept.
Dr. falciani understands it and we were
asked to come in and put some work up.
Hopefully we will be putting more art up. it
is good exposure for the art center, the artist
and we got a lot of compliments from people when we were putting the artwork up.
Obviously the patients appreciate the art as
well,” Bruno said.

Police were notified of the accident by
911 calls, Salvatore said. according to eyewitnesses, there were many people leaving
the church following Mass at the time the
accident occurred on Route 206, a highway
that is directly in front of St. anthony of
Padua Church. the empty restaurant building is located across Route 206 from
the front of the church.
the accident is being investigated by the atlantic County Prosecutor Office’s fatal accident Unit
along with Officer Kevin Sloan,
Salvatore said.
“No charges have been filed at
this point,” Salvatore said.
Salvatore said there is no crosswalk at the location.
Distler is survived by her husband, Melvin; two daughters, Rona
Kerbaugh (Robert) of atco and
theresa Lenox (William) of New
York; her son, Bryan Distler of
Westville, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Darin, Brandon and
